I don’t usually write detailed reviews, but Beyond Biryani deserves the recognition! Preeti and Ahmed are always warm and welcoming. Their biryani may be the specialty, but their menu truly goes beyond biryani. I especially love the chole and Gobi Manchurian. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is quick. We recently celebrated a friend’s milestone birthday here. They reserved a separate area for our group, prepared a special menu upon request, and even stayed open beyond their usual hours so we could celebrate without feeling rushed. The inviting ambiance and personal hospitality make every visit special. Redlands is lucky to have Beyond Biryani. Highly recommend!

If you’re a biryani lover like I am, do yourself a favor and visit Beyond Biryani in Redlands. I’ve been here several times now, and every single visit has been consistently amazing. I’m honestly so happy I discovered this place because it has become one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Inland Empire. The Hyderabadi Dum Biryani is packed with authentic flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully aromatic. The Vijayawada Chicken Biryani is another must-try if you enjoy a little extra spice and bold flavors. I also loved the Chicken 65, Keema, Garlic Naan, regular Naan, and the curries like Aloo, Okra, Bhaigan, Paneer etc - everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. Their Sunday buffet is an incredible value. The pricing is very reasonable, and there’s an impressive variety of dishes for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I especially enjoyed the vegetarian selections like Chole, Aloo Curry, and Okra, along with the fresh salad bar and delicious desserts. It’s the kind of buffet where you genuinely want to go back for seconds (and thirds!). What truly makes this place special, though, is the people. Everyone here is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and genu

We tried Beyond Biryani for the first time and are already planning our next visit. We ordered the podi dosa, palak paneer, matar paneer, and garlic naan, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. My husband, who can eat gluten, especially loved the garlic naan. As someone with celiac disease who has to eat strictly gluten free, I was incredibly impressed by how knowledgeable and accommodating the staff were. They understood cross contamination, patiently answered all of my questions, and even helped me identify several other gluten free dishes to try next time. That level of care means everything when dining out. The service was exceptionally warm and friendly, and the restaurant itself has a charming, inviting atmosphere with lovely dΓ©cor. I sincerely hope more people discover this place. It's tucked away in a location that could easily be overlooked, but it deserves to be busy. If you enjoy authentic Indian food, or if you need a restaurant that truly understands gluten free dining, do yourself a favor and give Beyond Biryani a try. Then tell your friends. We'll definitely be back!

We tried the buffet yesterday and i was personally not satisfied with the limited quality of choices. I've been to many Indian buffets that offered so much more in choices. I was disappointed that there wasn't any goat or lamb curry which I find at most Indian buffets. In addition they don't bring you warm fresh Naan to your table. The Naan was at the buffet and not warm. The food was somewhat delicious. Unfortunately we will not be returning here and go back to other Indian buffets that offer what we like. The gentleman hosts didn't seem very friendly or appreciative when I paid the bill even after adding 15% tip which came out to around $15. I dislike places that expect us to pay such a high tip yet are not appreciative at check out. Thumbs down for me. When I see better reviews of what disappointed us we may come back. Smile and say Thank You to your Customers!

Ordered: Daal Tadka (lentils), aloo gobi(cauliflower), kurkuri bhindi (okra), οΏΌwhole wheat roti. I’d been meaning to try this restaurant sooner and I’m glad I finally did. Beautiful restaurant, great service and tasty food. I got the daal tadka medium spicy and it was warming inside and delicious, I think I am going to try it hotter next time since I love spicy food. The aloo gobi had really delicious flavor and I loved the texture contrast between the cauliflower and potato. They had told me kurkuri bhindi was just fried okra with spices, but it was much tastier than I was expecting, all of the okra was deliciously crispy and the spices were nice. We came for a friend’s birthday and they added a complimentary dessert which was some sort of fried cheese with a sweet syrup and everyone loved it. They let me know they have lunch buffets so I will be back!
